Financial support

One of the basics of student visa applications is the requirement of proof of funds or financial capacity. For almost all countries (barring a few), students are required to provide evidentiary proof that they are able to not only pay for the fees but also cover normal living expenses for the duration of their stay in the country. Some universities ask for the same, but only after sending you an admission offer. Regardless of who asks for proof of funds, the fact remains that it refers to evidence that the student would be able to bear the cost of studying abroad. Financial documents mainly include the bank statement of the applicant. Some embassies require the candidate to hold the bank funds in their own account, while others allow sponsors to support the applicant.
Sponsors can be parents, relatives, friends, or other individuals. Each embassy sets predefined requirements that a sponsor should comply with before deciding to support any potential applicant. Bank statements need to be issued from listed authorized banks. Such statements should be maintained for a certain period and must show a sufficient amount of money covering tuition fees and living costs for approximately one year.
There are other additional financial documents as well. Unicom Student Consultancy aids applicants in arranging all the required financial documents in order to meet embassy requirements.
